Verse – Ezekiel 37:9
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.
Reflection – Ezekiel 37:9 – It Is Never Too Late
When Ezekiel saw the bones of people that had been slain he thought that was the end for them and nothing could be done for them again. The bones were dry which meant that there was no blood, tendons, or anything that suggested any life. As he commanded them to come to life, the bones heard him and a vast army was again revived.
God does not look at what is past or dead in our lives, he looks at where he wants to take us next. He is always speaking to us and we must be prepared to listen to him and obey his words as Ezekiel did. He did not doubt God’s power but he did as he was told.
When life presents us with challenges and we sometimes feel like there is no going back, we must remember how God promised to restore the Israelites to their former glory. He is always speaking to you, just open your ears so you may hear him and do as he says.

Thank you for your love for me
Thank you for forgiving me for all my trespasses
