Bible Reflection – Revelation 4:11 – He created Life

When you wake up in the morning, do you take the time to truly realize what you are? When you look in the mirror at yourself do you marvel and try to understand how such a being came into existence?

You are not connected to any power source and yet you are able to accomplish movements and biological functionalities by yourself.

Do you ask where your consciousness comes from? Do you try to find out where your heart gets its first spark to keep beating and pump blood throughout your body so oxygen is circulated? Do you ask where oxygen comes from and where your life actually begins?

Go out and look at the ocean, feel the air in your nostrils and the wind on your skin. Do you perceive how these marvels came into being?

John’s revelations through the spirit gave him a sneak peek of the things in the throne room of God. The different creatures that he saw were combinations of God’s magnificent ability.

These manifestations were to allow John to perceive the true greatness of God. John saw that God indeed is the beginning because he created life. Creation is not making. God was created out of nothing and hence is the Spark that gives us life.
