Christmas is a season for everyone. The birth of Christ was not meant to be celebrated solely by Christians but by all whose source is from the Father. Christ was the embodiment of God on earth, the Creator Himself walking among us. His birth was a great sign of the love God has for His children, a demonstration of His willingness to reconcile the wayward people of the world to Himself.
This act is the ultimate example of family. A Father sacrificing Himself for the redemption of His people. This Christmas, carry that same spirit of reconciliation and willingness into your interactions with others. Be a reconciler, not a chaos creator. Christ was born for all of mankind, so treat everyone you meet with the love and selflessness that Christ exemplified during His time on earth.
As a Christian, you are called to be Christlike. This means bringing hope where there is despair, kindness where there is wickedness, and faith where there is sin and destruction. Let this mindset guide your actions, whether in your workplace, your family, or among strangers you encounter.
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

You are called to be Christlike in every aspect of your life. Within your family, workplace, organization, group of friends, or any community you belong to. Christmas marks the birth of the One who came to reconcile God’s children to Him. Therefore, it is your responsibility to be a shining light in the dark places of your life. If there is conflict within your group, it is your duty to let peace and harmony reign.
Remember, we live in a fallen world, engulfed by the evils and darkness of the devil. This means the light within us must shine ever brighter for the world to recover from its darkness. It also means that challenges will arise in any group you belong to. There will be squabbles and disagreements in your family. Misunderstandings will occur in your workplace. Differences of opinion will surface among your friends.
Some people may side with you, while others may confide in you. Some may resent you for the alliances you form, while others may feel neglected or unloved. These issues are not unique but are caused by agents of confusion, a symptom of the fallen world we’ve inherited.
Christmas dinners serve as a powerful reminder of Christ’s mission. They are an opportunity to reflect on why He came and the significance of His sacrifice. Let this year’s Christmas dinner be more than a meal, let it be a symbol of reconciliation, a chance to foster love and understanding among the members of your group.
