Reflection – Genesis 2:9 – God Knows Best

Genesis 2:9

Verse – Genesis 2:9

The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Reflection – Genesis 2:9 – God knows best

When we are born and start to grow as children, we only know of things that make us happy and things that make us sad. When we are hungry, we cry and when we are full, we smile.

The moment we understand what is evil and what is good we are no longer innocent children. We become people who can think about what we do and calculate evil. Adam and Eve didn’t even know that they were naked. They didn’t even know what sin was.

The knowledge of sin became sin for them because from then on they knew what the right thing was and what the wrong thing was so if they did right or wrong, it was always deliberate.

What we can learn from this is that God will provide everything you need to survive in your life. All you need to do is obey him and do as he tells you.

Do not forget that only he knows what is good for you even better than your parents. Listen to his word and do what he commands, only then can you truly please him.
