Verse – Psalm 145:8-9, 14-21
The LORD is gracious and compassionate; slow to anger and rich in love. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made…
The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.
The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. Let every creature praise his holy name forever and ever.

Reflections – Psalm 145:8-9, 14-21 – God is good
When someone randomly says, “God is good,” they may not always explain why, but Psalm 145 gives that statement depth and meaning. These verses are a vivid portrait of God’s enduring love, kindness, and faithful provision.
The psalmist reminds us that God is not only good in a general, distant way, He is intimately and personally good to you and me.
It’s a beautiful thing to know we have a Father who waits patiently for us to come to Him. Even when we’re unaware, He is working in the background, meeting needs, calming storms, and filling our hearts with peace.
Imagine having all your needs met before you even realise you had them. That is the nature of our God, always a step ahead, always watching over us.
Take a moment to pause and reflect on your life. Think about the countless ways God has been good to you, even in silence. Has He not preserved your life? Given you breath each day? Protected you from harm? Restored your health when you were weak or sick? Given you food to eat and a place to rest? These are not small blessings; they are quiet testimonies of His daily faithfulness.
We often wait for something dramatic to happen before we acknowledge God’s presence. But His goodness is constant, even in the ordinary. The verses from Psalm 145 remind us to cultivate a habit of gratitude, not because life is always perfect, but because God’s love is always present. Praise becomes our response to His nature, not just to our circumstances.
As we grow in faith, let’s learn to offer Him praise more frequently. Let thanksgiving become the rhythm of our lives. The more we praise, the more we become aware of just how involved God is in every detail of our journey. And in that awareness, we find strength, peace, and unshakable joy

Declaration
I am a living testimony of God’s goodness and mercy. From this day forward, I will be a mouthpiece for His grace. As long as I have breath, I will lift my voice in praise – whether on the mountain or in the valley. My joy will not depend on my situation, because my heart remembers all the times He has come through for me.
I declare that every word from my mouth will speak of His kindness. In times of trouble, I will not complain or curse, but reflect on His faithfulness. I will praise Him through the trials, trusting that the same God who carried me before will do it again. My life is a song of thanksgiving, and I will sing it without shame.

Prayer
Father Lord in Heaven
Thank You for all You have done for me—seen and unseen.
You are the reason I’m alive today. Open my eyes to recognise Your hand in every part of my journey.
Thank You for Your mercy, for protecting me and my family, for sustaining us through every season.
Teach me to live with a grateful heart, to make praise my daily language.
May joy and peace overflow in my home, and may I never forget Your goodness.
Let my life continually reflect Your love.
Amen
