Your existence comes from God, who is the ultimate source of life. However, your physical presence in this world was made possible through the union of your parents, who brought you into being.
Their own existence, in turn, was the result of two others joining together, forming a family tree that stretches back through generations. This means that for you to inherit the earthly vessel in which your soul and spirit reside, a long line of ancestors had to live and remain healthy.
Within this lineage, some individuals were saved and sustained by God, while others may have been influenced or upheld by different spiritual forces. As a result, the blood you were born with is not pure or incorruptible.
The only incorruptible blood is the one you received when you were born again in Christ. However, the battle does not end there. A constant war exists between the corruptible blood of your natural birth and the incorruptible spirit you received from God.
You live in a fallen world, surrounded by forces of evil that seek to harm and destroy you. Whether you acknowledge it or not, these forces are real and relentless. It is your responsibility to determine which power prevails, the incorruptible spirit of God or the corruptible nature you inherited at birth. The choice is yours, and it is a decision you must make daily.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8
Whenever you face adversity, it is easy to rationalize it as having a purely physical explanation. You lose your job the same week you receive bad news from the doctor. You have an accident, and moments later, you hear that there’s a fire at home. When things fall apart without warning, you may think it is just coincidence or bad luck. However, these occurrences are not as random as they seem, they are often spiritual in nature.
The devil operates in this fallen world, using circumstances and people to bring harm to you. He works through your enemies, those who have set their sights on you and do not want to see you prosper.
Just as Job’s life was suddenly upended by the devil, who acted with God’s permission, adversity can strike unexpectedly. However, this does not mean every difficulty you face comes from God granting the devil permission to test you.
In a world rife with sin, spiritual battles rage constantly, and without nurturing the spiritual armor provided through salvation in Christ, you can find yourself vulnerable.
Whether you acknowledge it or not, spiritual enemies exist, seeking to derail your progress and tempt you into cursing God. These forces set traps to frustrate you and diminish your faith. Do not yield to their schemes.
Instead, meditate on God’s word, trust in His promises, and stand firm in the truth of what He says about you. Through steadfast faith and spiritual discipline, you can overcome any adversity and emerge stronger.
Prayers against unseen enemies
Enemies in the family
Dear Lord,
I pray with power and authority rooted in my salvation. My blood flows from an incorruptible source, and my lineage is no longer bound to evil. I come against any enemies within my family, whether their fight against me is spiritual or otherwise. Whatever their reason, I destroy any power they hold over me.
I disconnect myself from every evil connection, severing ties to anything that does not come from You. I block their wicked schemes, rendering them powerless, and I declare my complete freedom in You.

Enemies at work
Dear Lord,
There are strange occurrences at my job that trouble me. I am often queried without cause, and I sense jealousy from those around me because of my position. I come against any evil spirits and spiritual enemies that may be at work. I cast out all who wish to see me disgraced, and I destroy the plans of those who seek to have me fired.
Let every trap set against me fall apart, and let those who plot against me be cast under my feet. Be my protector and my guide. Keep me out of trouble and let all evil spiritual enemies at work fail in their ploys. Surround me with Your favor and peace.

Enemies in the neighbourhood
Heavenly Father,
I pray against any evil in my neighborhood. I come against conniving spirits and those who have targeted me. I stand against those who have chosen to frustrate me or plot to sabotage my peace. Let them fall into their own schemes, and let those who hate me without cause stumble into the pits they have dug.
Shine Your divine light upon all evil plots conceived in the dark. Let me walk unharmed, protected from their plans. Cover me with Your eternal power, and let Your unearned grace be my constant companion. Reveal all that I cannot see and thwart it by Your mighty hand.

Friends who are spiritual enemies
Dear Lord in Heaven,
I pray against so-called friends, those who are close to me yet harbor evil intentions. I come against anyone who disguises themselves as a friend but secretly plots harm. Protect me from those who pretend to like me while planning with my enemies, those who poison my food or my mind, and those who reveal my secrets to others.
Guard my children from those who seek to corrupt them. Let Your judgment fall upon such individuals, and let Your divine light expose their deceit. Fight my battles on my behalf, Lord, and shield me from every attack they orchestrate.

Enemies in dreams
Dear Lord,
I submit my dreams to You, and I surrender my nightmares into Your hands. Let those who attack me in my dreams be destroyed by Your power. Thwart the plans of those who wait for me in my sleep, and expose any evil that seeks to enter through my dreams.
Drown those who wish to drown me in my sleep, and destroy those who seek to harm or kill me while I rest. Rise up against those who attack me, Lord, and shine Your divine light upon all enemies of the night.
Close every evil door that opens in my dreams, and let no harm or darkness come near me as I sleep. Protect me, Lord, and fill my rest with Your peace and safety.

Heavenly Father,
I cancel all demonic possessions in my life in Your mighty name. I come against any possession of lust, jealousy, pride, fornication, or theft. I destroy all forms of demonic evil in my body and close every gateway for evil to enter.
Sanctify me, Lord, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Let the works of the enemy be rendered futile, and let my victory be firmly rooted in You. Surround me with Your grace and power, that I may walk in freedom and holiness.

Heavenly Father,
I come against all evil attacking my finances. I sanctify my money with Your Spirit and I plant my finances in Your holy temple. Let my investments be divinely protected and let everything I touch be abundantly blessed.
I destroy all evil forces that eat away at my money and come against any demonic enemies of progress. I break all evil influences of poverty and cancel every plot the enemy has to keep me down.
I destroy all plans to ruin my business, and I come against any evil hands that seek to harm it. I cover my work with Your spiritual grace and favor, trusting in Your provision and protection.

Spiritual enemies of good health
Heavenly Father,
I pray for my health today. I come against all enemies of my good health and destroy all evil diseases planned by the enemy, whether through physical or spiritual transfer. I block all evil ploys against my well-being.
Make me a vessel of divine health and let me bathe in Your healing fountain. Touch every cell in my body and remove all sickness. I block spiritual carriers of cancer, stroke, and diabetes. I destroy all evil plans of disability and come against any plans of accidents or harmful falls.
I cancel any enemy schemes regarding my health and bury them in their own traps, flooding them in their own pits. I receive Your divine health and strength, trusting in Your power to heal and protect me.

Evil lurks around you, and if it were not so, God would not have warned you about the devil. You must always be vigilant and careful about who you allow into your life.
Not everyone you meet has your best interest at heart; some may seek to poison the good life that you have. This is true on the physical side, but there are also spiritual enemies to contend with. While you sleep, there are forces standing ready to destroy you.
Evil cannot change to be good. The devil has been cursed with evil and cannot transform. Therefore, you must remain good through the salvation provided by Jesus Christ. This salvation is your permanent state, your protection.
You must use the power given to you through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to fight against evil, both that which is visible and that which is invisible. ‘
With this power, you can overcome the forces that seek to destroy you, in both the physical and spiritual realms. Stay strong, stay vigilant, and hold fast to the salvation and strength given to you by Christ.
The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.
