Galatians 1:10 Meaning

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Galatians 1:10

We often find ourselves seeking the approval and validation of others. We want to be liked, accepted, and recognized by those around us. But the truth is, we will never be able to please everyone. People will have their own opinions, biases, and judgements that may not always align with who you are or what you believe.

However, as a believer, you have something greater to hold on to. The unwavering love and acceptance of God. He created you, He knows you intimately, and He has a purpose and plan for your life. When you truly grasp the concept that God is pleased with you, it doesn’t matter what others think about you.

People may not always be on your side. They may criticize you, doubt you, and try to tear you down. But at the end of the day, their opinions are just that – opinions. They do not define you or determine your worth.

There is no need to seek validation from others when you already have the approval of the One who matters most.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image (Psalm 139:14), and He has equipped you with everything you need to fulfill your purpose. You are called, anointed, and deeply loved by God. He knows every hair on your head, every thought in your mind, and every beat of your heart. He created you with a purpose and a plan, and He has already declared His approval over you.

So why are you so concerned with what others think? Why are you seeking validation from people who did not create you, did not breathe life into you, and did not sacrifice for you? Why do you waste your time and energy trying to prove yourself to those who do not hold your destiny in their hands?

It’s time to let go of the need for external validation and embrace the truth of God’s love and approval. When you understand that He is pleased with you, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. You are free to be who you are, to walk confidently in your calling, and to live out the purpose that God has placed on your life.

When you understand that God is pleased with you, the opinions of others fade into insignificance. So stop trying to prove yourself to others. Stop seeking their approval and acceptance. Instead, rest in the knowledge that you are loved, valued, and approved by the One who created you. And let that truth set you free to be the person that God has called you to be.

You are enough, just as you are, in the eyes of your Heavenly Father.
