As you rise this morning, take a moment to thank God for the beautiful day. The thing about gratitude is that it is more than just saying thank you. Gratitude is a deep feeling that affects your mood and sets the tone for the day. When you start your day by thanking God for His goodness, you set a joyful and hopeful tone that carries you through whatever comes. Gratitude influences your outlook and fills your heart with positivity.
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Psalm 9:1
God is good and there are so many wonderful things He does in our lives every day. His blessings are abundant. It is therefore good to share His goodness with others, letting them see the beauty of His works through your joy and praise.
A morning prayer of gratitude and grace
Thank You, Father Almighty, for this beautiful new day. I stand in awe of Your wonderful deeds in my life, and I lift up praises and adoration to Your holy name. Thank You for the restful night’s sleep that renewed my body and mind.
As I begin this day, I ask for Your presence to go with me in all that I do. Surround me with Your protection, guide me with Your peace, and fill me with Your grace. Let every step I take and every word I speak reflect Your love and wisdom. I trust in Your care, knowing that Your hand is upon me.
Help me to approach each moment with a grateful heart, recognizing the many ways You work within my life. Let this day be a testament to Your goodness and mercy, that others may see Your love through me. May Your Spirit strengthen and sustain me in both challenges and blessings.
In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray with confidence and joy.
Amen.
