Finding out you are pregnant can be a scary thing if it happens at a time when you think you aren’t ready. When this happens, you start considering options to get rid of the pregnancy, and then these questions come – is this right in the sight of God? What does the bible say about abortion?

Well, the bible says a lot about human life and the value of human life, regardless of whether it’s a newborn, a child, an older person, or an unborn child. So below, we’ll take a look at some bible verses about abortion.

If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows.  But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,  burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.
