Verse – Ephesians 5:15-20
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Reflection – Ephesians 5:15-20 – Live In Wisdom
This is a guide for our daily routine. We as Christians are being warned about the world that we live in. Do not forget that this is not our spiritual home but we are merely just passing through. We are warned because we can lose our entitlement and inheritance in Christ if we do not live well here.
We must be wise and never feel like we have too much time. We can die at any moment and that means we must hold on to our faith and God’s grace at every point in time. We must not allow godless and lawless people to deceive us and make us lose our righteousness. We must always seek to do God’s will and never the will of man.
We must also strengthen each other with prayer, hymns, and psalms. Our words must be words of thanksgiving and praise always. We must live the spiritual life on earth if we want to live it in heaven.
Christianity is a spiritual family of God’s children and we must do our duty as co-heirs to the throne by admonishing and loving each other through any difficult times.
