There are so many lives that have been lost through journeys from one place to the other. Completing a journey is therefore not a right to anyone but rather a simple privilege from the Lord. It doesn’t matter if your journey is by foot, car, plane, bus, cycle, motorcycle, ship, or train the fact that you arrive at your planned destination in health and in one piece is a pure gift from the Lord.
There are so many things that could have gone wrong with your journey but did not. People often attribute the fact that they escaped an accident to luck or human skill. The truth is that no amount of luck or human skill can save you from death if the Lord does not intervene.
The mere fact that someone has the instinct to act quickly or in a certain way to prevent a terrible accident from happening means that the Lord was in control of that situation. If we open our hearts and ears to the Lord we will hear his instructions and directions.
These are the things that will keep us from falling into danger and traps that have been set for us. God is the one who protects and provides for us. The reason we get into these accidents and other difficult situations is that we do not listen to the voice of the Lord when he is instructing or talking to us.
We more often than not end up trying to do things our own way and end up regretting our actions. We must remember always that God’s time is the best.
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
Psalm 91:11, 12
He has given us the free will to live our lives on earth. He has also admonished us to follow the paths He shows us because He knows that is what will end us well. Some often feel like it is the driver, captain, or conductor of a vehicle that controls whether the passenger arrives at their destination or not.
The truth is that every vehicle has been crafted or manufactured with elements that already exist on Earth. Remember that nothing physical can be created out of nothing by man. That is only a gift God reserves for Himself.
However, He has given man the gift to craft and make things out of the gifts He buried on earth. That means that whatever vehicle or locomotive you find yourself traveling in is made of elements and materials that were created by God Himself.
The space in which they travel was all created by the Lord as well. That means that man cannot move or survive without the Lord. This is why He is the one who carries us and brings us to wherever we want to journey no matter what vehicle we may be using to get there.
The reason why we must pray whenever we are traveling is to let the Lord know from us that our lives are not in our own hands. There are several things that can go wrong in a journey. God’s presence means that He takes control of your journey and counts those who are His like a farmer counts his precious eggs. Those who believe in Him communicate with him constantly and let Him know that they depend on Him for life and every step they take.

Thank you for sustaining my life until now

When you travel, you leave your comfort zone. You trust other people with your life when you sit in their vehicles and their vessels. You expect them to take you there in one piece and without incident. Your trust should be in God. You cannot control the skills and emotions of other people who physically control your vessels.
Only God can help you reach your destination without problems. He is the one you should have faith in. Pray to him before, during, and after each journey. Believe in your heart that he watches you always and he will not let you down.
‘The Lord himself will go before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forget you. Don’t be afraid and don’t worry. Deuteronomy 31:8
