But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?
Matthew 9:4
Before anything can become real, it must be conceived first. Before a human being can be born into reality, they must first be conceived in the womb and then developed in the womb before finally coming out when the time is right.
Jesus heard their thoughts and knew that it was going to come to fruition in the future. Anything that is conceived in your mind whether positive or negative will come to reality if it is nurtured and given energy over a period of time.
Your mind is a very powerful gift from God that can create, nurture and develop any situation that is conceived in your mind. If you plant positivity and prosperity in your mind it will become reality if you nurture and develop it. You must be careful of the thought you entertain in your head.
Do not fill your head with hatred, negative thoughts, defeatist thoughts, or thoughts of always being the victim. When you give these thoughts room in your mind, they will begin to affect your body language and cause things in your life to follow along the same path as your thinking. This is why you should be careful about what you allow to dominate your mind because they will develop into tangible results in your life.
“A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed’’
Proverbs 15:13.
The thoughts in your head will define your demeanor and your approach to life. The thoughts in your head will seep into your heart and continue to dominate your life. When your heart is fed negativity it starts to turn sour and causes you pain. Your life now becomes a station for negativity and your body does not allow itself to receive positive news.
When your body language turns sour, your spirit will be crushed and you will begin to accept negativity as normality. You must fill your mind with positivity so that your spirit will be excited and cause you to accept prosperity in your life.
When your mind is filled with hope and positivity your mouth will speak it as well. Your spirit will create a world that is acceptable in the Lord’s eyes for you. A positive spirit conforms to God’s will for you and causes things to fall into place for you. A positive spirit produces a wonderful life and removes bad situations from your life.

Keep good company
Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.
1 Corinthians 15:33
The thoughts you keep in your head can be influenced by the people you surround yourself with. Some people will always fuel a negative personality. Others will always make you doubt yourself and put you down. Others can make you feel bad about yourself and will help fill your mind with negativity.
Surround yourself with positive people. Be with people who will want to lift you up when you are feeling down. Keep the company of those who will never let you bring yourself down. Some will always be positive about everything and will never discourage or mislead you.
Speak positivity
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 19:14.
The words in your mouth are a reflection of the things you fill your heart with. When a person’s heart is full of anger for a period of time, the words that finally come out of their mouth are vile and often hurtful. These words are sometimes accompanied by regrettable actions.
Similarly, the things you focus your heart on should be full of blessings, adorations, helpful thoughts, productive meditations, and forgiveness. When these things dominate your heart you start to walk similarly. Your speech becomes positive and your works become productive.
When you speak positively your spirit creates blessings and abundance in your world. Things start to conform to God’s good plans for you. Just as the world was made through words commanding God’s spirit to move upon the earth, your words will also cause your spirit to create what it commands.
Don’t focus on bad things
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
Romans 8:18.
When you build a house, it normally takes a lot of effort, resources, and time. People however do not choose to focus on what they are losing because they know that once the house is completed, they can live in it for as long as they can and even pass it on to their descendants.
This is how God expects you to live. You must focus on the good building blocks of your faith and not the negative collapses on the way. Focus on a bright future and strive to achieve it. Do not let the little disappointments discourage you from the huge reward at the end.
A bad thought is only as powerful as the length of time it stays in our head. Do not focus on the evil you have encountered but live only in expectation of glory each day and your future will be sorted in the name of Jesus Christ.
See every test as a new challenge to prosper
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12.
Have you ever noticed that the hardest challenges in video games are always right before advancements to the next level? With every level you pass, you get more experienced and stronger to be able to face the challenges of the next one.
Whenever you face tough tests and trials in life, know that a higher level of grace and prosperity awaits you on the other side. You can either give up on yourself or keep trying until you succeed.
The Lord has already overcome your enemies and challenges; it is up to you to walk in your victory with faith and grace. Every trial is a stepping stone to a glorious future so do not allow these tests to cause you to give up but see them as an opportunity to grow.
Meditate on God’s promises
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
Isaiah 26:3.
Listen and meditate on this promise of God. Those whose minds are dutifully firm and unwavering no matter what circumstances they may face will find perfect peace in the Lord.
Peace is knowing that every aspect of your life is sorted and catered for. Peace is trusting in the Lord to protect you from all the evils of the enemy. Those who have steadfast minds are not encumbered or discouraged by what they see because they know that the Lord is always faithful enough to fulfill his promises.
Meditate and focus on these promises of God always and you will conquer any battle of the mind that comes your way. When you win your mental battle, you win your earthly battles.
Be convinced that your future is bright
I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread.
Psalm 37:25.
Those who trust in the Lord will never beg for bread. That means that the children of God will never lack anything they desire for as long as they remain in the Lord. Your faith in God will show in your thoughts, your words, and your works. Those who live by faith function differently from those who do not.
Their approach to obstacles and trials is different from others. Their words are dominated by optimism and progressive remarks. Their lives are like trees planted next to river bodies. No matter the weather, they know that they will always be restored somehow. Be one of these people and know in your heart that no matter how bad things are right now, you have already won in the future.
