Verse – 1 Corinthians 10:12-13
So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Reflection – 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 – He Will Deliver You
We should be on our guard all the time. The things that can tempt us are things that are attractive to our flesh. The flesh only craves instant gratification without any regard for the soul or the spirit. We are warned to be careful not to fall when temptation comes.
God has promised not to let anything that is beyond us come our way. He has also said that he will always find a way for us out of any temptation. This is great news from our father.
As Christians, we must therefore be strong in any situation. We must not let our heads down when we go through struggles. We should be cheerful in the face of adversity and we must also have faith that no matter what the situation is, we will always come out on top.
