As humans on earth, we face difficult situations and circumstances each day. These situations cause us to react in various ways depending on our personality. When some people are in need they cry. When people are sick, their hearts are troubled. When some sleep, they fear that they may not wake. When some start businesses or jobs they doubt or dread what might happen to their money.
Anxiety is the devil’s tool. He uses it to make us feel wretched, unlovable, and alone. When you start to hear voices like ‘even richer people have died of this disease’ or ‘your business will fail if you don’t seek help from somewhere else’ or ‘because of what you did in the past, God is punishing you’, you should know that is the devil’s voice.
Everyone at some point is going to experience anxiety for whatever reason. Anxiety can stem from work, finances, relationships, sickness, parenting, and even things happening in the world. But the word of God consistently reassures us of God being there for us through everything because He cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7)
So when your heart is troubled and you can’t stop worrying, just turn to the Lord in prayer and tell him all your problems. While you are waiting for God to change things, it’s easy to live worried, stay focused on the problem and think about why it’s not going to work out.
Clear your mind. Isaiah said, “If you’ll keep your mind on Him, He will keep you in perfect peace”. So all you have to do is to keep your mind on God. Worry turns your focus away from God, so instead, give thanks to God and trust that He has a plan for you and everything is going to work out in the end.
Giving thanks turns your focus towards God. So no matter how bad things are, no matter how big your problems may seem, find something to thank God for.
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline

Prayers for anxiety are meant to strengthen your faith in the power and love of God. His love and grace are sufficient for you in everything you do or experience. Refuse to be afraid or uneasy in your heart because the one in you is bigger and more powerful than what is in the world.
