Easter is a very important occasion in a Christian’s life. During Easter, we remember the death of Christ Jesus, our Lord, and celebrate his resurrection. But sometimes between making delicious meals to enjoy with our family and decorating our eggs to create beautiful memories, we forget what Easter is truly about.

In the beginning, God created the world and it was perfect. The bible says in Genesis that God saw all that he had created and it was good. But sin entered God’s world and this affected God’s relationship with mankind.

So because of God’s love for mankind, he sent down his son to die for our sins, so that through the death of his son, our sins will be forgiven and our relationship with him will be restored.

Now because Christ died for our sins, our relationship with God is renewed and so we celebrate Easter to remember the suffering and the death of Jesus Christ for us. Below are some Easter bible verses to remind you what Easter is really about.
