And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.
Hebrews 11:11
It doesn’t matter how small Sarah’s hope in giving birth was. When she decided to hang on the promises of God and consider Him faithful her miracle was achieved.
What does this tell you? Sarah hoped against the limitations of her body and showed good faith in God. Hope is the small flame of belief that sparks big miracles into being.
Sarah’s ageing body was a huge obstacle to overcome but based on the word of God, she believed she could bear a child and that is all you need.
There will be times when all you see is limitation. Professionals will tell you that it is scientifically impossible to receive your miracle. In those times, stand on your ground and hear the words of God echo in your ears.
”The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations”
Psalm 33:11
God’s eyes are forever on those who fear Him and hope on his unfailing love. Let these words be that glimmer and spark that takes you to your miracle.
Jesus wanted his disciples to have faith as little as a mustard seed to be able to move mountains. Surely you can have some little hope in the Maker of the Universe and the faithful God.
Do not let limitations on your body make you lose that little hope in your heart. Always remember that it only takes a small flame to burn down an entire forest. This little flame is the hope in your heart.
Miracles do not occur when there is no challenge. What is impossible for man is possible for God. Keep your eyes and mind on the promises and declarations of God and shut your ears to all the outside noise and you will receive your miracle.
God wants to glorify Himself in you. Allow yourself to receive His promises made concerning your life. See yourself already free of the obstacle you face today. That is your Hope now, start walking toward your miracle in faith.
Prayer
Almighty God,
I know I have already succeeded in your eyes
I Know You have already promised me a brighter future
I will not look at my limitations today
but I will celebrate my glory tomorrow
Help me keep my eye on you and never be discouraged
Let not my enemies bring me down
Strengthen me to be hopeful and faithful in you
And let my hope grow into faith so I can claim my miracle.
